Scotland have announced their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup that’s scheduled to commence on 17th of October in Oman and UAE, Scotland have announced a 17 man squad for the mega ICC event. Scotland have actively played cricket and are in as a competitive side.
Scotland have a good batting lineup, at the top there’s Calum Macleod, George Munsey and Kyle Coetzer. A compact middle order with enough batters who can accelerate and switch gears, Richard Berrington, Oli Haris, Matthew Cross and Calum Macleod construct the middle order, a couple more option in Dylan Budge and Craig Wallance. Lower middle order, there’s enough batting and a bit of spark that Michael Leask and Safyaan Sharif can put on display.
Bowling isn’t a concern for Scotland, repeatedly Scotland have put up great bowling performances as a unit. Spin department there’s Mark Watt, Michael Leask, Chris Greaves and Hamza Tahir, enough options and variety. Pace bowling there’s again enough options in Safyaan Sharif, Alasdair Evans, Chris Sole, Josh Davey and Brad Wheal. Scotland have defended low totals, do bowl tight and disciplined, they’ll wish to carry the same and put up better bowling displays during the ICC event.

Scotland will first battle in round 1 fixtures to seal a spot in the super 12, Scotland will kick-start their World Cup campaign playing Bangladesh on 17th of October, they next play PNG on 19th of October and play Oman on 21st of October for their final game of round 1 fixtures.
Scotland with a good side are in as favourites and do have a good chance to find a spot in super 12, Scotland will have a good fight against Bangladesh and should be comfortable to play PNG and Oman. Scotland if manage a good finish in super 12 that’ll mark an inspiring finish to their T20 World Cup campaign.
