Posted by The All-India senior selection committee today have picked the squad for the two match test series that’s lined up post the 3 match T20I series against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the side in Virat Kohli’s absence.
Virat Kohli will join the test squad for the final Mumbai test and will be back with captaincy duties. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant have been rested. Shreyas Iyer, Jayant Yadav and Prasidh Krishna feature in the mix.

Kanpur and Mumbai to host the test matches, Kanpur test is scheduled from 25th of 29th of November and the Mumbai test is scheduled from 3rd to 7th of December.
